The Cosmos
Super cosmo-y. Like to hear Daggz travel in this direction with his sound. Setting the tone for the EP for sure. Got them heavy pulsating stabs throughout over clean ass bass. Kinda reminds me of ‘HiLow’. Loving it & a great start
Magicians w/ Chmura & Comisar
Pick a card…any card. Sorry I had to somehow imply magic in this??? Magic is fucking awesome tbh salute David Copperfield the absolute goat. This man made the statue of liberty disappear in the 90s. And walked thru the Great Wall of China like whatttttt. A Daggz track featuring Chmura & Comisar is obviously fire af what more can I say
Pleadians w/ Lowcation
Oooo loving this tempo. Shit is an ultimate groove. Simple while curating a rhythm you can’t ignore. Can’t say I’ve heard too much from Daggz that generates this feel, but I’m super here for it. Tribal melodies included makes for a stellar track. Cosmos be cosmoin
Elementals w/ Ooga
Ahh there we go. That classic Daggz vocal sample giving a speech of something that sounds straight out of cult instructional guide book. Ayo this switch up tho? I was expecting some banging 140 bpm intensity, but I should’ve known better having Ooga on the track. Grooves galore. Definitely imagining the intro to the early Nickelodeon cartoon ‘Avatar’ in my head showing them portraying water, earth, fire, and air as this track plays (I still need to watch that show)
Overall, very pleased indeed with this EP. Again, Daggz is one of the best doing it in 2024. If you’re reading this & you’re not familiar already, how sway. Mans been taking over the scene with live shows. Caught him at Fire Lights 2023 & it was well worth. Salute Daggz & all involved on this EP…can’t even imagine what’s up next.
