It was a hot summer night and I was sitting in my Mazda outside of a random-ass casino in the middle of the rural midwest. Pop Tha Trunk said he’s on the way, but I don’t see anyone in the parking lot around me. Then suddenly, as though out of thin air – the door opens, and a tall fella plops down into my passenger seat. He opens a small cooler to reveal a few rosin pucks, an ice water, and a snack.
“Tryna smoke up before we go into the fest?”
It was then I knew I was in good company. A couple of dabs and a water later, we were on the back of a golf cart talking to Dr. Fresch and ST4RFOX while eating someone elses’ rider snacks. A tale as old as time.
