Lavier been one to be looking out for. This track is taking it to all new heights. Sonically, & what feels like; literally. Soundscape is crazy. Like really rocket ship type shit. With a lil’ Donkey Kong intro, Crash Bandicoot-ass sounding perc things. Lovely.
Once all of it comes together is where the space program comes into play…. and just a lovely melodic sounding video game lead. Really Megaman 2025 type thing going on here. Or like Star Fox. Actually this is just the theme music of what you should listen to while playing Super Smash Bros. Not the N64 one cause that’s toooo retro for what’s going on here. Then it sounds like some strings but not really strings on the next build up? Its like if strings were to take shape of light? Angelic space light? Idek but that’s what it is.
And its a nice buildup, like proper buildup. Loving the spacey (sorry for using the word “space” so much on a blog that has the literal word in the name of it) atmosphere in the 2nd drop as well. Its like Interstellar where he’s going thru time & space really quick but slow at the same time.
Really impressed once again from the boy.
Never heard a track like this from him & really think this next album can put him where he wants to be!
